Community Gardens - Grow Food Without Your Own Land- Pandemic Survival Covid-19 Series

There are several types of community gardens, from neighborhood gardens, to communal gardens, kids gardens and votech gardens, all of which have one fundamental thing in common:

"Community."

And community is something we definitely could use a lot more of right about now.

If you've never thought about organizing or becoming a part of a community garden, but you didn't know what to do or where to start, this YouTube video will provide you with a informative overview of the various types of community gardens.

This video shows you the typical costs associated with starting a community garden:

Here are 3 videos on....

"How To Start A Community Garden."

As the name implies, 'community gardens,' are all about the community you serve.

So you'll definitely want to find out if you'll have enough people interested in volunteering to help with the garden, first and foremost.

To gauge interest, you can post on sites like Craigslist in the "Community Section," or "NextDoor."

You can also post in all your 'local' Facebook groups, and on sites like "LetGo" and "OfferUp."

To make it easier to keep track of responses, set up a dedicated email address and 'Text Group' in your phone, so you can easily store the contact information of the people who respond to you so you can communicate with the whole group easily.
